Dr Alice Kahn Ladas is a licensed psychologist in NM, a Certified Bioenergetic Analyst and first author of the NY Times best seller, The G Spot and Other Discoveries About Human Sexuality.  

A big part of her professional life has been helping women use their bodies as they wish. Appendix B of The G Spot book contains the study done with her husband Harold, Women and Bioenergetic Analysis.

Dr. Alice taught the first Lamaze Course in educated childbirth in the USA, helped found the Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis in1956, and wrote her doctoral dissertation with 1100 members of the newly formed La Leche League. Clinical Pediatrics, among others, published a summary “How to Help Mothers Breastfeed”.

As an advocate for research in Body Psychotherapy, the research awards of the United States Assoc. for Body Psychotherapy are named after her.
